Bonding Lobby Hours
The bonding lobby at the Floyd County Jail is open 24/7 however they are closed for lunch each day from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M.

Cash Bonds
You can pay a bond using cash or money order if you have the exact amount plus $20 for the service charge.

Property Bonds
To pay with a property title it must meet all of the following criteria:

Property is in Floyd County
-
Property is in your name
-
If multiple names are on the property, everyone has to be present to sign the property bond

Not a mobile home
-
Taxes must be current
-
If your last name is different from the name on the property you must bring documentation of your name change (example; marriage license)

If your property meets all of the above then you will can bring your drivers license/ ID card & $20 to the bonding lobby to bond an individual out with a property bond.

NOTE: No quit claim deeds or security deeds are accepted. Warranty deeds may be accepted.
Bondsmen
You can use a bonding company to bond an individual out of the Floyd County Jail. The cost of using a bondsmen is determined by the individual bonding company used. FCSO approved bonding companies are:

Transfer Bonds
If you own property outside of Floyd County (but still in Georgia) and want to bond an individual out of the Floyd County Jail you can go to the Sheriff's Office that has jurisdiction where you live. Apply for a property bond with that Sheriff's Office and bring the approved property bond to the Floyd County Sheriff's Office bonding lobby.
Alternatively if you want to bond an individual out in another Georgia County and own property in Floyd County. You can apply for a property bond through FCSO and take the approved property bond to the Sheriff's Office that the individual is incarcerated at.
Ankle Monitoring
The Floyd County Sheriff's Office is responsible for monitoring ankle monitors set up as a pretrial bond condition. Prior to an individual being released from jail a representative from one of the below companies, that you set up, will come to the Floyd County Jail and affix an ankle monitor on them.
Please note, the Floyd County Sheriff's Office may enter into an agreement with third party to monitor an ankle monitor. The only approved third parties by the Floyd County Sheriff's Office is CSRA Probation & Well Done Ankle Monitoring.
